Ricardo joined the Alberta Mexico Office on January 2, 2007 in the role of Commercial Officer and brings ample experience to this new position within the Alberta Mexico Office. Ricardo has worked at the Mexican Embassy in Ottawa (1992-94), the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture (1990 – 92)), the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City (1997-2000) and most recently, as a Senior Policy Analyst with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) from 2000-2006.
Ricardo holds a B.A. in Economics from ITAM (Mexico City, 1990) and a MSc. in Economics from the University of Warwick (Coventry, UK, 1995).
