Mr. Estrada has twice been the Director of the Law Department (now School of Law) and Political Science of the Universidad Autónoma de Tlaxcala (Autonomous University of Tlaxcala) and he has participated academically at various Universities and Institutions of Higher Learning within Mexico. He is the author of various books: El festín de los días (The Banquet of Days), Acerca del sindicalismo universitario mexicano (On Mexican University Unionism), Ventana al Derecho Procesal Laboral Mexicano (Window to Mexican Procedural Labor Law). He translates English and some Russian; he speaks Italian.
Law Practice: Agent of the Office of the State Attorney General in Tecali de Herrera, Puebla and in the city of Puebla (1975); Legal advisor of the Office of the Federal Attorney for the Consumer, Puebla Delegation (1976-1978); he has freely practiced his profession as a petitioning labor attorney in Puebla and Tlaxcala; Chairman of the Local Board of Conciliation and Arbitration of the State of Tlaxcala; Citizen Councilman of the Federal Electoral Institute (Instituto Federal Electoral, IFE) in Tlaxcala; Coordinator of the Tlaxcaltec Human Rights Commission; Assistant Legal Director of the Coordination with the Branches of the Union of the Ministry of the Interior, Mexico City. Chairman of the Tlaxcala Delegation of the Mexican Academy of Labor Law and Social Security.
