With the support of the Secretariat, the NAOs initiate the cooperative activities of the Commission, including seminars, conferences, joint research projects and technical assistance in relation to the eleven Labor Principles of the NAALC, as well as to labor statistics, productivity and related matters.  2) Trinational Government Experts Workshop on the Role of Labor Ministries in the Effective Promotion of Mine Safety and Health in North America  - October 30 & 31, 2007:  The Commission organized a tri-national seminar on Mine Saftey and Health issues in North America in Guadelajara, Mex.  Click here to view the seminar's presentations

 

 3) Labor Market Interdependence in North America: Challenges and Opportunities of an Aging Population ( Mexico City, Mexico, November 13, 2006). Seminar based on concerns over the rapidly changing demographics in each member country and what can be done to adapt to an aging population.

 

 4) Seminar on Incomes and Productivity in North America ( February , 2004). The 2004 Seminar on Incomes and Productivity in North America is part of an ongoing effort by the Secretariat of the Commission for Labor Cooperation to analyze the relationship between productivity levels and worker incomes.
